Laundry Tips To Maintain Your Uniform’s Look

Want to keep that “new” look your uniform had when you took it out of the box? We’ve got the tips you should follow to extend that new uniform look you love.

Embroidery

For the best results, you should machine wash your uniform using the hot or cold setting on your washing machine. Once you finished washing your uniform, place it in the dryer and set it to tumble dry at the normal-medium heat. Keep your uniform wrinkle-free by using the regular iron-steam or the dry setting on your iron. Want to save the hassle and send it to the dry cleaners? Your embroidered uniform can be dry cleaned using any solvent. Depending on your uniform’s style, you can bleach it as needed.

If the metallic thread was used to embroider your design, make sure to wash it using the hot setting and avoid bleaching the garment. We also suggest that you do not tumble dry your uniform or use heavy duty detergents as the detergent can cause slight discoloration to the metallic design.
If you’re taking a metallic threaded uniform to the dry cleaners, let them know to iron your uniform using the lowest setting.

Twill

For uniforms decorated with twill, follow the same washing and care instructions that are listed on the uniform’s tag.
